Substantial increases in the maximum fines for offences in relation to child pornography will shortly be introduced to the Children Bill by the Minister of State at the Department of Justice, Mr Austin Currie.
Mr Currie will introduce a number of other amendments to the Bill this week, including a provision substantially increasing the fine for soliciting a child for prostitution.
