Restoration of the Control of Farmyard Pollution Scheme would be a priority for Fianna Fail when the Dail resumed, the party leader, Mr Bertie Ahern, said yesterday.
In breaking faith with farmers and turning its back on a sustainable development agenda for agriculture the Government was threatening to consign the largest economic sector to the status of a dirty industry, he said.
