The Taoiseach leaves for Chicago today for his traditional St Patrick's Day visit to the United States.
He will deliver the T.W. Heyck lecture at North Western University tonight and will meet Mayor of Chicago Mr Richard Daley tomorrow.
On Wednesday he will present shamrock to US President Mr George W. Bush at the White House. He flies to Barcelona on Thursday for an European Union summit.
