The legal challenge by the Government to seek the disclosure of the identity of a woman who is suing the State over the Hepatitis C controversy has been criticised by the Fianna Fail health spokeswoman, Ms Maire Geoghegan Quinn.
"It is despicable that the Attorney General is taking such an action and challenging this woman's right to anonymity, she said. "The Government is effectively trying to bully and browbeat the victims of this State disaster into going to the ad hoc tribunal. It is a vindictive challenge and should be dropped."
