Canberra - Australian Aborigines, spurred by reformed land laws, are claiming vast stretches of the continent's surrounding seas, including prime tourist areas and the Great Barrier Reef. The Native Title Tribunal, which handles such cases, said on Monday yesterday it had already referred several of the claims to the federal court.
