A teenage girl who lost her hair in an accident at work will receive £400,000 sterling compensation

A teenage girl who lost her hair in an accident at work will receive £400,000 sterling compensation. Ms Donna Brown (18) from Drumachose Park, Limavady, Co Derry, was "scalped" after she was dragged into a machine in a laundry. She suffered an almost complete loss of scalp and forehead skin.

Ms Brown's claim against her employers, Limavady Laundry and Cleaning Services, of Seacoast Road, was settled out of court.
