London - A two-year-old girl who disappeared with a family friend was last night reunited with her mother, police said.

Toddler Caitlan Watt went missing on Thursday afternoon after going to feed the ducks with one of her mother's closest friends.

A police hunt for the girl was launched after they failed to return from the park. The hunt for the pair resumed yesterday and police drivers searched a pond in Alexandra Park, Moss Side.

Caitlin was later spotted walking through Moss Side with a woman and a long-haired man.

Around 6 p.m., the child was found safe and well in the Moss Side area and reunited with her pregnant mother, Ms Sharon Stokes. A woman was arrested in connection with the disappearance.
