Two Dublin men appeared in court yesterday following an incident in which a young Spanish student received serious leg injuries when she was run over by a motorcycle.
Mr John Kelly (27) and Mr Francis Canning (19), both of Carnlough Road, Cabra, are charged with stealing a handbag belonging to a 23-year-old Spanish woman at Leinster Street, Phibsboro, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Both men were remanded in custody with consent to independent bail of £700 to appear again in Dublin District Court in one week's time.
