BELGRADE - All 12 persons aboard a Russian Ilyushin 76 transport plane were believed to have died when it crashed near Belgrade Airport early yesterday after turning back and attempting an emergency landing. The plane was to fly to Malta and unload its cargo, which was destined for Libya the Maltese Department of Information said.
