The estimate for National Lottery allocations in 1998 is just over £107 million, compared with an expected £98.9 million this year. The biggest increase is in the category of "tourism, sport and recreation", which will get £13.9 million next year, up almost £6.4 million.
Lottery allocations to projects overseen by the Department of the Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands rise from £13.7 million to £16.1 million.
