London - A Scottish businessman was celebrating last night after paying £100,000 for a black designer handbag donated by Baroness Thatcher. Mr Ian Rushbrook, investment director of Edinburgh-based Personal Assets Trust and Collective Assets Trust, said he was delighted to have won the bidding war for the Salvatore Ferragamo handbag.

Baroness Thatcher said she was "thrilled" her handbag had raised so much money for Breast Cancer Care.
