Baghdad - UN sanctions killed almost 10,000 Iraqis in February, raising the total death toll from the decade-old embargo to 1.283 million people, Iraq's health ministry said yesterday. It said 6,939 children died last month from acute diarrhoea, respiratory problems and malnutrition.
