Starter homes in commuter scheme

Ashbourne: from €249,950:Merville Homes has released the second phase of Millbourne, a residential scheme in Ashbourne, Co Meath.

Twenty-five three-bedroom houses and apartments come to the market this week. Show units at the site will be on display to coincide with the launch, which is being handled by McPeake Auctioneers.

This phase primarily comprises three-bedroom homes. The houses come in three styles and range in size from 112-123sq m (1,215-1,330sq ft). Prices start at €249,950.

Standard fit-out at the scheme includes quality fitted kitchens, brushed chrome fittings, timber windows and external doors, and a choice of three paint colours.

A number of large two-bedroom apartments are also for sale with prices starting at €272,500.

Located close to the Ashbourne town centre, Millbourne will consist of 350 new homes when finished.

Completions will be from spring 2008, according to the selling agent.

Other schemes by Merville Homes include Castleriada in Lucan and homes in Tyrrelstown, Dublin.
