Watch this Space: Dublin City Council is considering a planning application for a recording studio, offices and apartments at Windmill Lane, near Sir John Rogerson's Quay in the south city centre.

Citypark Properties, whose directors are Jerry O'Reilly and Eamon Shields, is looking to build the development on a site at 2-3 Hanover Street, 19 Creighton Street and 1-4 Windmill Lane in Dublin 2.

Jerry O'Reilly is also a partner with Bernard McNamara in the €450 million Radora Development on the former lands of the Sisters of Charity fronting Merrion Road, Dublin 4.

The proposal for Windmill Lane comprises two blocks, one six-storey with 37 apartments over two ground floor retail units and the other one a four-storey office block with a penthouse set back.

The recording studios would be housed in a part new build, part-refurbished 19 Creighton Street. The proposal would also involve demolishing warehouse buildings and retaining a tower structure at 19 Creighton Street. The two blocks are planned around a central raised landscaped courtyard with pedestrian access from Hanover Street and Creighton Street.
