Never mind the quantity of space - what about the quality of working in the city?

Jones Lang LaSalle has raised eyebrows with its new site advertisement on the gasworks land in the Dublin docklands. Do You Have Enough Office Space? asks the ad. The question is, does anyone need more space in the worsening office scene, where many of the new high tech companies seem to be pulling in their horns. Surely a more positive message about the merits of working in the city - as opposed to some far-flung office park in the suburbs - would do the trick. Even if the agency is having trouble in pulling in office tenants, the Dublin Docklands Development Authority is not likely to encounter much resistance to its planned 1,000 homes on the same site between Pearse Street and the city quays.
