Let's Talk Phones, Eircell's specialist mobile phone retailer, is to open its 30th outlet when The Pavilions, the new shopping centre at Swords, Co Dublin, opens to the public in April. The move is part of Lets Talk Phones continued expansion as it seeks further outlets throughout the country. The company is now looking for "about five further sites," according to Lisa McGrane of Jones Lang LaSalle. "We are looking at busy High Street and shopping centre locations with a ground floor trading area in the region of 600 sq ft," she said. "They could be described as in-fill sites, in areas where Let's Talk Phones already has some presence."

The Let's Talk Phones unit in The Pavilions will be one of the larger of the chain's outlets with some 1,200 sq ft. Mobile phone retailers have been the most active of any specialist group over the past three years, paying over the odds for high profile sites in many areas. The latest player in the market, Meteor, the third mobile phone operator, has also begun to build up a network of outlets in Dublin and other cities.
