BidsinFrance.com is the sales agent for a small scheme of apartments in the village of Barcares.

The gated scheme of 14 units is located 300m from the beach and close to the village centre.

The development has its own pool and every apartment has a lock-up garage and spacious terrace.

Prices start at €149,000 for one-bedroom apartments with 42sq m (452sq ft) of living space. Two-bedroom units with 67sq m (721sq ft) are priced from €210,000 and three-bedroom apartments, which are laid out over 76sq m (818sq ft) cost from €240,000.

Buyers will have a wide choice in colour schemes, tiles, kitchens and bathrooms, according to the selling agent.

Barcares is an attractive seaside village with over 6,000 inhabitants. It has 12km of sandy beachfront.

Perpignan is 20 minutes away by car and the Spanish border 30 minutes away. The ski resorts in the Pyrenees are an hour away.

The scheme is due to be completed in October 2008, according to the selling agent.
