Tuesday and Wednesday (November 1st and 2nd):Ashgrove Auction Rooms, Ballybrittas, Portlaoise, Co Laois – sale of some 1,800 lots of antiques, fine art, silver and quality collectibles. Auction each day starts at 4.30pm. Viewing tomorrow and bank-holiday Monday from 2pm-6pm at the salesroom.

Sunday (Nov 6th):Matthews Auction Rooms, sale of the contents of Coolatore House, Moate, Co Westmeath, at noon. Viewing on site next Friday at 1am. The house was rented by Michael Jackson for five months and some of his personal effects are included in the sale.
