  • Makes 160mls of gin
  • 150ml of tomato juice
  • A good squeeze of lemon juice
  • 4 drops of Tabasco sauce
  • 4 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
  • A pinch of celery salt
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Celery to garnish


Gin is having its moment in the sun with the gin revival in full swing. Justin Green’s very aptly named Bertha’s Revenge,made from whey alcohol is a wonderfully fragrant addition to the gin world.

Mix all the ingredients together in a jug, season to your taste, pour into glasses, add ice and a stick of celery to garnish. Guaranteed to add a bit of spice to your day.
