Get to know the stories and personalities behind Ireland’s 50 farmhouse cheeses at open days. Learn to taste the difference between Cork, Kerry, Clare and Louth. First up is a visit to the home of Cooleeney Cheese in Co Tipperary on 15th April, followed by Coolea Farmhouse dairy in Cork on 17th April and Coolattin Cheddar in Carlow the next day. Take a rest before hitting Glyde Farm in Co Louth, 23rd April, to taste Bellingham Blue. Next day you’re in Portumna for Killeen Cheese, then taste St Tola cheese in Clare on 28th April.
