Wear it out: Effortlessly chic look uses classic pieces

A Breton top, a denim shirt and Doc Martens form the basis of a timeless look

This week, we meet model Áine Tubridy to check out her weekend look. Aine rocks such an effortless style and has chosen classic pieces like the Breton top and a denim shirt to make her look timeless. These pieces don’t follow fashion trends and will be eternally in style. A great look for a trip out for brunch on a Sunday.

Shirt:

The boyfriend fit of Áine's shirt means it is a piece that will suit everyone. I would recommend going one or two sizes up from what you would usually wear to get this look. Zara hasve a great denim short option and it goes up to an XL. Asos Marketplace also has a great range of vintage denim shirts so you could pick up a vintage Levi or Lee one for about €20-€25. Denim Shirt Zara, €39.95

Top:

Forever in fashion, the Breton top is a longstanding style piece. An ode to years gone by in Paris, this top is a classic. There are many shapes and sizes available in this style but this raglan top from Forever 21 is a great fit. Forever 21 Striped Raglan Top €10

Boots:

Áine got her boots on Depop, which is a great app for buying and selling clothing, accessories and shoes. It is really simple to use and a great way to clear out your closet or pick up some new pieces for great prices. Doc Martens, in my opinion, are always better bought second hand. They have that lovely worn in look then and you don't have to go through the agonising pain of breaking them in yourself. Vintage Doc Martens, Depop
