Seven things to do this week

Seven things to do this week

TODAY: Kick through the autumn leaves in the Phoenix Park and while you're there, head to the park's gem of a visitor centre where there is an exhibition of paintings by Pat McGrath. His seascapes (below) will make you want to hit the beach whatever the weather. 10 a.m.-4.45 p.m. until tomorrow.

TOMORROW: Boo! If you don't don a costume for the Sunday Roast Hallowe'en Special at Spy in Dublin tonight, performers Chuzzle and Aidan Walsh, Master of the Universe will both make you feel decidedly under-dressed. There is a trick-or-treat opera, a Punch and Judy show and free roast pumpkin. Doors open 9 p.m. No cover charge. Spy, South William Street, Dublin.

MONDAY: The Concern Fast was launched by that comedian with a conscience Des Bishop recently with the theme Change Lives. Fast and it's hoped money will be raised for projects in 27 developing countries. Today is as good a day as any to register for the 24-hour event which takes place on Thursday, November 25th by phoning 1850-505055.
