Champagne on the lawn, classic cars on the driveway, a jazz band playing, elegant women wafting around in long dresses . . . the wedding fair at Lisnavagh House in Rathvilly, Co Carlow on March 21st and 22nd sounds like it will be a swell occasion.
Grand tours of the house will be given, and visitors will also be able to explore the estate’s 5.6 hectares of gardens to view marquee sites, including the pleasure grounds, the American garden and the rhododendron beds. Stationers, jewellers, caterers and wine merchants will be in attendance, and lunch and afternoon tea will be served.
