For years, we have slavered like a rabid dog over the Eames chair in Frasier - the peerless series might have long since left our screens, but the memory of that supple, black leather beauty lounging by his piano never fades.

And so the hunt for the elusive perfect place for parking our posteriors has brought us to the first monthly collectors retro and antiques fair at the Ballsbridge Inn (formerly Jurys hotel) in Dublin 4. The fair takes place tomorrow (Sunday) from 11am to 6pm. Entry is €3, or free with a copy of The Irish Times Magazine. And hands off the Eames, it's ours.
