Victorian dining table is sold for £1,550

LAST Monday's antique furniture auction Bat Mullen's of Laurel Park included a late Victorian mahogany dining table, which made £1,550, and a pair of burr walnut chests that sold for £1,100. A Georgian mahogany longcase clock dating from circa 1800 sold for £1,000, a mahogany sofa table dating from approximately a century later made £950, a 20th century Irish mahogany carved sideboard fetched £875 and a large mahogany Chippendale-style sideboard with inverted moulded top fetched £850.
