Over the past four months, close on 20,000 subscribers followed what claimed to be Ewan McGregor’s Twitter musings, offering such insights as “My little nephew calls me Obi-Wan”, “If offered, I’d be quite happy to do Moulin Rouge 2” and “About to enjoy banana pancakes”.
It now transpires that the Twitter site and its related MySpace profile are the work of an impostor. Also on the Twitter front, Harry Potteractress Emma Watson recently denied Twitter reports that she's about to enrol at Yale.
