Solitaire diamond ring is sold for £7,600

A solitaire diamond ring of 2.16 carats sold for £7,600 at O'Reilly's Auction Rooms in Dublin last Wednesday, when a Victorian gold bangle set with 57 rose diamonds made £6,400. While a solitaire diamond ring of five carats set in a platinum mount was withdrawn at £14,400, it was sold after the auction for a figure close to £15,000. An 18-carat gold three-stone diamond ring of approximately 3.5 carats went for £7,200 and a diamond set line bracelet fetched £2,300.
