Prints, poetry and prose at book fair

THIS month's National Book Fair will be held on Monday in its usual venue, the Masonic Hall on Molesworth Street in Dublin. Among the dealers are Boro Books and they will be offering a copy of J.J. Oldmixon's Memoirs of Ireland from the Restoration to the Present Time, as well as a copy of Monasticum Hihernicum, published in London in 1722.

Stokes Rare Books of Dublin has a copy of William Hamilton Drumm's poem, The Giants Causeway, published in Belfast in 1811, and A Succinct and Accurate Account... of the Popish College of Maynooth by Eugene Francis O'Beirne, published in Hereford in 1840. In addition to booksellers, the fair, which opens at 10 a.m., will also feature a number of dealers who specialise in prints.
