Louth and proud

Think Dundalk’s most famous musical export is The Corrs? Well, you’d be right. Yet the past few years has seen a clutch of young bands from the Co Louth town making waves. Next Thursday, a showcase of Dundalk-based acts takes place at Sweeney’s, in Dame Street, Dublin, from 9.30pm. The line-up includes The Curtain Thieves, Take the Money and Run, The Trampz and The Mighty Tempest.
