Think Muse are bombastic? They’re a stripped-down skiffle trio compared to these guys, who took prog-rock to the power of three. As if we haven’t already had enough boxsets and reissues of ELP’s back catalogue, here’s their first two albums, each remixed by Steven Wilson from the original tapes and released as deluxe three-CD sets, complete with 5.1 surround sound, bonus tracks and unreleased outtakes.

ELP's 1970 debut is a confident calling-card, showcasing Emerson's classical chops (The Three Fates), Palmer's demolition drumming (Tank) and Lake's way with a whimsical ballad (Lucky Man).
