Electric Picnic: Wild Beasts - Set your beards to stroke

Set your beards to stroke for this mid-afternoon set from indie darlings Wild Beasts. The stage is stripped back with just the four-piece and their eqipment for decoration. But most people are here to soak up the intricate song lines, interplaying melodies and well-honed rhythms.

It's a very well put together package, and while fireworks don't exactlty go off, the sun puts in an afternoon appearance and, with the balmy riffs of the Beasts for company, the damp and drizzle of Friday suddenly seems a very distant memory.
