Antiques and furniture restoration at Kells event

Auctioneers from Christie's and Hamilton Osborne King will be in attendance at a fine-art and antiques fair tomorrow in aid of the Meningitis Research Foundation at Headfort School, Kells, Co Meath.

Beginning at midday, the event includes furniture restoration and gilding demonstrations, as well as dealers from throughout Ireland, who will be selling antiques and other collectables.

Newman House fair attracts 39 dealers

The regular fine-arts and antiques fair takes place tomorrow in Dublin's Newman House on St Stephen's Green. Some 39 dealers are expected at this event, offering a variety of items, from porcelain and glass to postcards and collectable paper.
