Traffic controller loses the plot

Who'd have thought a Renny Harlin film could be more interesting than helping to land an actual jet plane? Well it seems that an air-traffic controller from Ohio has been suspended for watching Harlin's Cleaner, an ill-remembered Sam Jackson title from 2007, when he should have been talking down the aircraft.

In an incident that could have appeared in South Park, pilots heard snatches of dialogue from the film when the controller flicked on his microphone. Jeez man, if you're going to endanger lives for a Harlin flick at least make it The Long Kiss Goodnight– or, particularly appropriate given its concern with airports, the rollicking Die Hard 2.
