Confirmation that the grey pound wields real power comes with the news that The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, a surprise hit on both sides of the Atlantic, is to get itself a sequel. Dench, Smith and Nighy are all said to be keen on returning. Good grief. Is there anything that can’t be turned into a sequel?
