Pass it Around Lost Highway ***:With climatic shivers now matching economic chills, perhaps the time is right for some goodtime surfing sounds. Donavon Frankenreiter is a friend of fellow singing surfer Jack Johnson, a man whose enormous success seemed a mite generous on the part of lady luck.

Frankenreiter's music rides the same mild-mannered waves (so to speak), albeit, he could argue, with a little more soft rock flair and adventure, courtesy of some interesting arrangements, as on Mansions on the Sand(with Grant Lee Philips) and the title track.
