Dining table sells for £4,400

Town & Country attracted a full house for its auction sale on the premises last Sunday. Top price of the day was the £4,400 paid for a George III pillar dining table. A late Victorian silver presentation cup, presented at the RDS, made £940; a Victorian mahogany longcase clock fetched £920; and a 19th century Empire suite sold for £900.
