A report in yesterday's editions said that the Rev Ginnie Kennerley, newly appointed canon of Christ Church Cathedral, was the first woman to be ordained a Church of Ireland priest in the Republic of Ireland. In fact, the first woman priest was the Rev Janet Catterall. Canon Kennerly was the first woman rector of a parish.
