In an article in an edition of The Irish Times published on Friday, August 7th, 1998, a quotation was attributed to Ms Murray (16) of Rathcoole, Co Dublin, in connection with Michelle de Bruin. The parents of Ms Murray said that the comments attributed to Ms Murray did not reflect her views or what she said. The Irish Times accepts that Ms Murray said: "I cannot believe that such a big organisation found her guilty".

The location of tomorrow's free public seminar on young people and addiction was incorrect in yesterday's Education and Living supplement. Although organised by the Rutland Centre, it will be held at 7 p.m. in the Jesuit Centre, Milltown Park, Sandford Road, Dublin 6.

The caption on a still from the film Into the West in last Friday's Business This Week 1 supplement stated incorrectly that the Tito character had been played by Ruairi Quinn. It should have read Ruaidhri Conroy.

Where errors occur it is the policy of The Irish Times to correct or clarify as soon as practicable.
