In the editions of October 21st it was stated that an interim injunction had been granted by the High Court to Bank of Ireland against Mr Michael Brannigan who operates a dump site at Freshford Road, Kilkenny. We have been asked to point out that the matter does not relate in any way to Mr Michael Brannigan and Mr Michael Brannigan jnr, directors of Michael Brannigan & Son Ltd, a warehousing company at Talbots Inch, Freshford Road, Kilkenny.

A report on a plan to upgrade O'Connell Street, Dublin, in the editions of October 16th, referred to Mr Dick Gleeson as "the corporation planning officer". Mr Gleeson is, in fact, one of two deputy Dublin City planning officers. Mr Patrick F. A. McDonnell is the Dublin City planning officer.
