Paul Durcan will read at 8 p.m. on Saturday in the Knockranny Hotel as part of the Westport Arts Festival, not 4 p.m. as stated in Tuesday's editions.

In a profile of Prof Mary McAleese last Saturday, it was stated incorrectly that she was the first Catholic pro-vice-chancellor of Queen's University Belfast. In fact, the first Catholic in that post was Prof Sean Fulton (1987-1993).

A report in yesterday's Property supplement said a penthouse at Bartra Rock, Dalkey, Co Dublin, was available to rent at £5,000 per week. This should have been, as the headline stated, £5,000 per month.
