A teenager is due to appear in court in connection with the fatal assault of Ryan Weir Gibbons in Kildare Town last month.
Mr Gibbons, who was in his 20s, was found unresponsive on Magee Terrace, off Curragh Road, in the centre of Kildare town, at about 3.15am on October 26th.
On Friday, gardaí said a male, aged in his late teens, had been charged in relation to their investigation.
He is due to appear in front of a special sitting of Naas District Court.
