The troubles continue at Aer Lingus, where a board subcommittee has upheld two complaints of sexual harassment against the chief executive, Mr Michael Foley.

He has been advised to stay away from work pending the outcome of deliberations by a special board sub-committee.

Mr Foley has rejected the findings, of course, and is seeking to clear his name. Robust as his campaign is, he has not resorted to publishing a book.

Intriguing, however, is a tome at the top of the New York Times non-fiction bestseller list this week.

Titled Foley is Good, the book is described as a behind-the-scenes memoir by a professional wrestler named, yes, Mick Foley. Strange indeed.
