UNITED Drug is now on schedule to spend up to £20 million on acquisitions following the passing of resolutions which allow a £12.4 million rights issue.
No questions were, asked at the extraordinary general meeting. Last year, United Drug had turnover of £214 million, and pre-tax profits of £5 million.
The company is the largest phmaceutical wholesaler in [Ireland, with operations in Dublin, Belfast, Derry, Limerick, Ballina and Omah.
