IT LOOKS set to be another tense week for markets as European leaders go down to the wire in their efforts to reach agreement on how best to tackle the euro zone debt crisis.
In the run-up to the weekend, hopes of a comprehensive deal being struck at a summit of EU leaders yesterday were waning.
It is likely that no final decisions will be adopted until a second summit, which is to be held by Wednesday at the latest.
The key Irish economic indicators due out over the coming days will be focused on the consumer, with retail sales, residential property prices and private sector credit figures all due for release.
