April appears to be the month the Irish tech industry has chosen to strut its stuff and the RDS seems to be the place to do it. Comms 99 takes place next week and it will be followed by Windows World at the end of the month. Both events promise to offer a complete overview of what's on offer in the Irish technology market. Comms 99 has been extended to accommodate 99 exhibitors, and a marquee will be erected to extend the Simmonscourt Pavilion.

At Windows World, two weeks later, more than 40 products are expected to be launched by around 100 Irish and international companies. Key exhibitors will include Microsoft, Novell, Corel, Siemens and Canon.

For further details about Comms 99 which runs from April 13th to 15th, visit the website at www.comms99.ie. More information about Windows World, from April 28th to 29th, is available on www.infolive.ie/winworld/
