YOU could almost feel sorry for Fleishman-Hillard Saunders. The Margin hears that the PR company is organising the corporate hospitality side of this year's Budweiser Derby on June 30th.
The Derby is one of the highlights of the junketing year, complete with chauffeur-driven limos to the Curragh for those lucky enough to be invited as guest of the famous American beer company.
Unfortunately, the Government would appear to have block-booked most of the nations 50-strong limo fleet for the duration of the European presidency which starts the next day on July 1st.
As a result, Fleishman may have trouble hiring enough limos to transport its guests to the Derby as they will be busy ferrying around Eurocrats.
