The business advisory group Deloitte is to establish a new development centre and tax unit in Belfast which it hopes will create 125 additional jobs in the North.

The jobs boost is expected to increase Deloitte’s workforce in the North to 275 people over the next two years. The group provides a range of audit, tax, consulting and corporate finance services to public- and private-sector clients. One hundred of the new jobs are expected in Deloitte’s new National Solution Centre in Belfast which will focus on software development, testing, analytics and application support. The tax unit should create another 25 jobs.
