A Derry company which supplies labels to some of Ireland’s biggest brands is to create 21 jobs as part of a £1.4 million investment project.

NuPrint Technologies produces labels for a wide spectrum of customers from major supermarket groups like Sainsbury’s and Lidl to hi-tech companies like Seagate.

Founded in 1984 the company based in the Springtown Industrial Estate is now planning to move into new markets.

Gavin Killeen, managing director of Nu Print Technologies added: “We are focused on diversifying our product offering to make the most of opportunities in the flexible packaging and technology sectors. “To do this we have introduced new manufacturing technologies and boosted our capability across a range of labelling activities.”
