THE pound remained flat against sterling yesterday at 103.60p as the British currency followed a stronger dollar up. Most of the focus in currency markets was a rush to sell Japanese yen which drove the dollar up and talk of coming German interest rate cuts which drove the deutschmark down. Traders said they expect the pound to stay in the 103.60 to 103.85p range for much of the week.
