ABN Amro has recruited Mr Ciaran Kane as head of corporate distribution within its global financial markets division in Ireland. Mr Kane joins ABN Amro from Bank of Ireland Group where he was associate director, head of corporate sales in its treasury and international banking division. He will have responsibility for the further development of ABN Amro's existing corporate distribution business.

A number of management changes have been unveiled at tour operator Sunworld. Mr John Kinane, until recently finance and overseas director, has been appointed deputy managing director and also becomes managing director designate.

Cambridge Technology Partners has promoted Mr Freddie Kavanagh to market manager for Ireland. Mr Kavanagh, who has been with Cambridge Technology Partners for the past five years, will be responsible for the strategic direction and overall performance of the Irish business and for supporting pan-European and international projects from Dublin.

New Ireland Assurance has announced the appointment of Mr John Power as broker sales manager for Dublin. Previously regional manager for Dublin, Mr Power has more than 17 years' experience in the industry.

Ms Rebecca Street has joined Woodford Bourne Ltd, the distributor for family owned wineries in Ireland, as marketing and communications manager. Ms Street joins the company from Australian wine producer Brown Brothers.

Mr Kenneth Maughan has been appointed managing director at Fulcrum Distribution, the Dublin-based e-business, internet and network security organisation. Mr Maughan has more than 15 years' experience in the IT industry, having worked with such companies as Business Automation and BlueChip Technology.

Mowlam Healthcare, a leading provider of private nursing care and convalescent centres, has named Mr Alan Crossley as managing director and has also appointed him to the board of the company. Prior to his appointment, Mr Crossley worked as an advisor to the hospitality sector.

Information technology company Xwave has appointed Mr Anthony Murphy and Mr Kevin McGowan as business development managers for its Irish operation - Xwave Solutions. Mr Murphywill build and grow Xwave's customer relationships in Ireland and Mr McGowan will be responsible for the private sector focusing on the telecommunications and energy markets.

Elevate, a new PR consultancy, has unveiled a number of new appointments. Ms Jill Forde has joined the company as account director from Spirit Telecom, where she was corporate affairs manager, while Ms Eimear Gaynor has joined as office manager from Intel Financial Services in Sydney, Australia, where she was an account executive.
